It's that time again - SW City's crazily insane birthday bash! Following 5 years of tradition, we'll be hosting a series of events that span 2 days, April 1st and 2nd. You can see the schedule Here. Note the schedule may see some edits between now and then, as well as some currently unconfirmed events that may be added later.

:: Universal Teleport List 2.0

This UTL has been remade, using an all new method. For the first time, the teleports are broken into a tree directory structure, collapsible and expandable.

It uses the User Guide tab instead of the teleports tab, which supports a tree directory layout. Normally the listings on the user guide points to a website, which is the AW help guide. We followed that format, but it points to the teleport php script instead (credit to Syntax for coming up with the idea).

The new user guide has 3 root entries - the UTL, the builder's guide part of the AW user guide (we figured if you even know about SW City, the rest of the user guide is wasted space), and some SW City resources such as the public pictures directory.

As for the content itself, some additions were made, but more importantly, a lot of useless and some duplicate entries were removed. Some coords were adjusted.

:: 6th Annual Building Contest Kicks Off

Today is the 20th, which means the birthday bash's building contest starts. This year's theme is industrial, one of SW CIty's strongest, unique features. The staff has been putting a lot of work into Hyokia Industrial Center, sprucing it up for a public showing. Players will get a plot right on the west side of it.

:: New SWC Times & SW Pick plus a few updates

Congratulations to the SW City Times for releasing it's 49th issue today! The first issue in Volume 5 was released to news stands all over Active Worlds, so go pick up your copy.

March's SW Pick has also been revealed... check it out on the side-bar. Definately worth a look. O_O Probably one of the sweetest buildings in Alphaworld it.

Also.. the news ticker on the side has been updated as well to reflect some of the newer news going on.
