Cypris Creek promoted!
Posted Saturday, April 27, 2002 by Comit
At 4 pm VRT, April 27th, Vornox joined the ranks of SW City staff as his viceroy lot got promoted to Suburb status. Cypris Creek (CC), has been a viceroy lot on the NW areas of Central District for rougly 6 months now. Recently the area has shown leaps of improvement, not only CC, but Vornox, who has been very involved with the city community lately. CC will now be taking more of a part in the betterment of SW City ^_^

You can find Cypris creek at AW 2123S 3374E

Virus Alert!
Posted Monday, April 22, 2002 by Comit
If you get a email with an attachment and no message, don't touch it. It has been passing through the staff here, so you might get it ;_;.
(Correction: Nutinmuch has properly identified the virus. Apparently it's just a blank virus that sends itself.)

Forum = online

Sorry for the long wait, but it's online and in the state it was when it popped. It was a really stupid error and I'd like to thank the support guy and zeon hosting for helping me. (>_< @ chmod 755 for H-sphere and 777 for their old control panal. The only thing holding me back that.)

Landing Point Isle
Posted Friday, April 12, 2002 by Comit
Whether your a hard core SW'ian, want a new AW starting point, or just want to catch up on the most recent SW City news, Land Point Isle is for you.

Landing Point Isle (LPI) is an island designed to be your starting point when you log in AW (aka "make this my home). The first thing you'll see is the news board, usually containing information about builds or governmental news, maybe even news about new residents and what-not. Near the landing point is a teleport for each sub-community's recent construction zones. For example Central SW City (my place ^_^) is working on a theme park - Mango Land - and you can find the teleport to it near the landing point.

LPI also features Quickport™, a handle set of buttons right over the news board to get to major areas like town square, city hall, the map, and the object yard. Quickport™ may be seen in other areas of town sooner or later.

Along with LPI's tropical setting are some other nifty features like an ABN TV setup, and an island full of SW City's famous places and/or frequently visited areas. If you look around you'll also find a Palm Sea Ferry waiting to give you a ride to harbors around the great SW'ian waterways.

So if your interested, pop on over to AW 1831.9S 3808.4E 0.1a 100 and make it your home!

Updated some pages..

I updated the maps page so it's a bit more efficient. I popped on a script that opens up a window to the size of the picture without any buttons or anything, just the pic! I also upgraded the teleports so you have to click a button before you teleport, which is less annoying. >.<

Speaking of teleports, I would like the staff and core staff to submit a list of builds and their locations so I can put them on the teleports list. Thanks d00ds.

Added SW Games list to Goodies!

SW Comit and I compiled a list of games you can play in SW City. The list can be found on the Goodies section of this site. Teleports and small descriptions are also included! :-)

Major additions
Posted Thursday, April 4, 2002 by Comit
Recently, Syntax and OniLink popped on a big ol' addition on Irenic Ocean on the SE side. I was a bit inspired so Syn and I started a river, named Vishara's River, heading out of town. The river goes directly north for about 600 coords, then east (and a bit south) for another 500 or so coords. The river leads into Cougar Lake, roughly the size of Palm Sea. On the shores of Cougar lake we started a little place called Mondary Village. It's going for an old fashioned 1800's look.

We're now thinking of some ways of classifying these out of town towns. One idea regarded turning us into a nation, but I won't go into details unless it's official. Stay tuned =)
