Excessive Stewardship Syndrome

Overview

Excessive Stewardship Syndrome, or ESS for short, is a semi-common but unexplained condition that effects many of the denizens of Alphaworld. One that contracts the syndrome will without second thought look over huge tracts of land. This is done by cultivating ground cover grass, or in some cases, paving over massive areas of land. Other symptoms include mild-forms of OCD, as the tracks will usually always be perfectly aligned and right angled, and equally consistent.

ESS shouldn't be confused with property management, as ESS victims will never actually go beyond the covering of their ill-gotten property. ESS is considered a dangerous syndrome as almost all victims will eventually drop off the radar and are never heard from again. Nobody knows where they go, but it is assumed they've left for other worlds or galaxies to tend to the lands there.
