Those be some impressive snapshots. Wonders what those areas (that existed) looked like in 2000. A few rephotography shots would be intereting.
I imagine this getting tons of pics eventually, so maybe we should lay some groundwork for some organization. Keywords, categories, dates, that sort of thing.

I agree with Baro, we need to have some organisation there. Would be nice if we could eventually organise it by a map, like the AWMapper. Where people could click in an area and find all the screenies near there.
As the footnote claims, the gallery was just a prepacked gallery webapp I downloaded. There’s like a zillion free ones out there you can get so I wasn’t so inclined to make my own. I don’t think this one supports stuff like that.
It’d be cool and all but the gallery is targetted at non-SW City users. This is similar to the screenshot galleries you would see on the official websites for games and such – its just a raw listing of pictures, only organized by date if anything. Someone not part of the city yet would care not for a regional based organization or keywords.
But I wouldn’t be opposed to using another gallery webapp if someone can refer a good one.

I’ll be on the lookout for a few. Would be really cool if we found one that fit easily in the swcity.net template
The template is pretty small… would be nice to find one that blacks out the screen and pops up the picture full screen… you know what I mean.
