Alphaworld and the rest of the AWI public building worlds had building disabled in preparation for the release of Activeworlds 5.0, which will hopefully meet its release date of December 1st. If you are a regular Alphaworld’ian, there’s still a lot to do like playing SW City Interactive, editing and taking pictures for the SWiki or admiring the new forum updates!

Nobody does.
I have to do some large land-covering but I’m really worried 5.0 will still have the building out of range bug. Do we know if thr 5.0 uni will allow older versions to login for this purpose?
I miss when Alpha was in Alpha development
The only reason people say they miss is so that they can say they were there. Nobody misses those old versions of AW. If anything you miss the experience, not the software.
Yeah in the “Go back in time” thread on the forums I was thinking I actually couldn’t bare going back in time at all as every month means worse versions, less progress. Bah! The only thing I miss is hyper-running, but ^boost is almost as good.
