You’re just like me :p It’s become a running joke on my forums that I tend to break them at least twice a month, which causes me to take them offline to fix it (and I do break them a lot).

*ponder* @ what would’ve happened had we done some serious customisation to the forum template like integrate SWI or something. No doubt would’ve all been lost it, thanks to Comit’s carelessness

Well, our template still works and so do the custom scripts (switter, rotator, etc), they just don’t look right because the forum source files they call on have changed so much in the upgrade.

If I recall correctly, when I last visited the SMF site to look into their forum software, they were having some serious internal disagreements among the developers which resulted in open letters, resignations, and enlisting community members/users to help sway certain people. I was trying to read their forums and follow the arguements, but it devolved into complaining about certain peoples posts/topics being deleted and people trying to create links to pages and having them blocked by the forum moderators. I haven’t gone back to check in months, so I assume that’s all hopefully over with now.
I would assume any angry letters to them would likely be ignored, and thus fruitless.

I’m gonna have to rebuilt this theme from near-scratch to make it look nice and it isn’t going to get done when I don’t have a keyboard or computer desk to work off of.
I’ll have that stuff in January and I’ll do it then. Until then, live with this shitty theme or revert back to RC2.

Restored rank icons and the Switter feed. The news feed needs reworking so I took it out.

can you just load up a pre-made dark theme for temporary use until then? don’t forums usually come with a certain set of themes?
Also, I do web design for a living, so if anything I can help with let me know. Although I am not going to do all the dirty work, I too have other things to be doing

Need darkness I can invert colors on the iPod, but not on this monitor! At least, not with a simple triple click.

Is SW City Courthouse ready yet? As the (disbarred) part-time attorney from Rockford in addition to being Governor of Palmshire, I’m prepared to file a lawsuit on behalf of others against SW City and Commie for damages (including, but not limited to, blindness, unwanted guests in the house, being arrested for unnecessary crimes committed as result of this, et cetera) and emotional disturbances (including, but not limited to, unnecessary rioting, drooling repeatedly at sight of cats, accidentally eating birds, et cetera) as result of this forum being too bright for their eyes.

I upgraded it because everyone was complaining about how their new post notifications were not showing up. It fixed the issue. I still have the old files if you need them for something?
