There’s been quite a building buzz in the last few weeks, so here’s a round-up of what’s been going on.
SW Comit has started a large powerline system that has quickly spread its way through half of Central SW City. He is currently working his way past Town Square Park, which recently got a lot of attention for updates.
A new clock tower has been built north of SW Ground Zero as well as many little details such as new directional signs, walkways and lamp-posts. Basically the whole “northwest quadrant” of Town Square has been renovated. A new fence is also being built around Town Square Park.

Palm Urban has also seen some attention in the last week or so as five different buildings popped up; a few hovercraft dealerships and a bank.
Ferruccio has big plans for Castle Pines. He is planning on connecting his areas into SW City with some massive road projects.
Movie Night was a good time. Around 7 people showed up for the showing of Groundhog Day. The next movie for Movie Night 4 is being selected right now in the forum, so head over there and vote.
The third Movie Night in SW City is tonight at 10pm VRT! This viewing will be out on Norlisk Island, so bring your toque and parka. The screen can be found at AW 2809.87S 5527.52E 0.00a 88!
Well it finally happened, folks. The SR Forum has it’s own board dedicated to Activeworlds after Goober King brought up the need for one. The original plan was to have all AW topics within General Discussion but this new board seems to be the more logical approach. Previously, all AW related topics were held within the SW Community board.
Enjoy the new playground, everyone. ;D
Big news for the SW City Times this month. It is time to start the long and painful process of switching over the SW City Times newsstands to the new URL. Luckily, I have written the code for you. The steps are simple.
1. When you come across an old newstand (which can now be indicated and easily spotted by a big flashy animated JPG), head to the newspapers website and copy the new code from the box.
2. Replace the old code with the new. Voila, one stand updated.
Here is the code (also on the newspapers website for future use):
create picture times.swcity.net/times.jpg,sign bcolor=orange “SW City Times”;activate url times.swcity.net/times.jpg target=aw_3d
