Cy Awards Invitation & Website Updates
May 22nd is the date for the Cy Awards! Click the link below for more information. SW City is nominated in a number of categories if you haven’t checked the voting list (which is now closed). Hope to see everyone there in the new world Alphabit has been working on for quite a while now. Should prove to be the most impressive Cy ceremony yet.

I also updated a few portions of the website. Added some new game links to the Fun & Games site and updated the description info for Palm Grove and Syntax Estates. I hope to get around to updating all of the descriptions one of these days. Those two were the worst and I had to update them. I must have wrote ’em when I was 2 because there were more sentance fragments than I could shake a stick at. *shake* …..>,x!!!
Sharman Caves open
Greeting’s SW’ians. As many of you already know, Sharman Caves has been expanded with bigger and better caverns. Well, I added the official entrance and finished up the Gongs and some other things, so here it is, enjoy =D

Alright…the problem is solved.
For the past 2 weeks now we’ve been having problems with the news software. After having no news on the site for about a week, uninstalling CuteNews and reinstalling NewsPro countless times, I finally know what the problem is.
I send an ICQ to Chris that says “Chris, newspro isn’t working again” and he’s like “Oh, it’s probably because of all the SPAM. When we go over the limit, the service provide turns off writing to the account so we can only delete.” Me: “>______<" All this trouble over SPAM. Now that I know the problem we should be functioning fine from now on.
SW City Bash: Day Two
Yeehaw – Friday was a grand day in SW City as we had huge turnover of people that attended the bash. I was told 26 people at one point of time, and they came in waves. The fireworks had a great crowd and AWI changed it to night mode and put out a world message to advertise it. We had 3 showings for the fireworks, the last two being unplanned for but were thrown in for the second and then third wave of people.
Syntax gave a nice speech about SW City and then cut the red tape officially opening the new City Hall, located at 2291.8S 3670.5E.
Later the subway challenge went off pretty well, with Ferruccio in first, Captain MAD Mike in second, Espilae in third, “Syntax Jr.” in forth.
The new game at Mango Land was then released, The Lava Chamber, but unfortunately no one could beat it (how come I’m the only one that can beat it? >_<). The remaining crowd then hanged out on Velothi Island at the local coffee shop where they could also check out the new Stargate next door. Special thanks go to Daphne for advertising us at AWGZ and AWGate, Archergirl for covering the event on AW Radio, and to Mountain Myst from AWI who gave us night mode.
