From the looks of it, slm is going to be very useful.
AW is getting all these new features

Build 699, nice.
Anyway… *hops on to check out the new juice*
New in Build 969
* Added “ltm” option to move command to move the object along its local axes (ltm = local transform matrix). * Added capability to load awg-files as ground object, with full action command functionality for all object types except movers (opens endless new possibilities). * Updated Renderware DLLs and fixed OpenGL render mode; * Applied ‘autolook’ feature to neighbor avatars; * Added skinned avatars to use pick up movers attached to a certain joint/tag; * Added “create/activate/bump seq [loop |time=x.y] [translate] [global]” action command to apply animation sequences to any object in world; * Added capability for bots to change position of any rider of a mover (requires world server build 86);

Tell us more about the ltm control. How’s it work? What exactly does it do? Is it awesome?

It just means that for move commands, the moves will work off the local axis instead of the global axis. The object’s X axis vs the world’s X axis, for example. Makes it easy to build more complicated moves, like sliding doors built at an angle for example.
Doesn’t mean much to me, but I’m sure curve’o’holics like Ferr love it ;P

I think its a great addition… 😮 I thought you would be able to take it further though… and I also thought it would work with rotate.
Say like, if you attach flapping wings to a mover, as soon as you turn the mover the wings stay flap on their axis. Need the flapping to turn with the mover.

It’s useful, but when it comes to actually moving the object to where to want it, still has much to be desired.
“ltm” for actual building purposes when moving the objects and positioning them.. THAT would be groundbreaking.
