SW City Builders Academy News
A few updates over at the Builders Academy today, including the first downloadable Mover (a jetpack).
AWPortals Object Path Search
Strike Rapier has developed a most excellent tool on his AWPortals website called the Object Path Search. It allows people to enter in keywords and get back entire lists of objects or textures from a given object path. If you are new or a veteran to building, this is an excellent place to check out what kinds of materials you have to build with.

Missing Mushrooms?
You may have noticed your mushrooms are no longer in inventory. You need a container first, so go speak with Javar again 
Flint Currency
Some quests give flint as a reward now (along with what they gave before). In case you didn’t know, flint is the name of the city currency.
For current players, flint has been given to accounts based on which quests you have completed.
There is nothing you can do with it just yet. It is a precursor for things to come in the next version of SWI. Stay tuned 
February Newsletter & Contest Winners
The February Issue of the Active Worlds newsletter is out. Congratulations to Chris for winning the first Movie Contest (a P-50/20 World for a year) and.. uh… me for getting 3rd in the toolbar contest (P10/5 World for a year). Also, props to everyone who participated in these contests put on by AWI. 😀 I honestly thought I’d have the only toolbars submitted.

Server woes
Yes, the server is acting up. And I’m trying to post this before it goes down again. Dunno, something about the hard drive running outa space or some nonsense.
Academy Updates
If you haven’t been to the SW City Builders’ Academy in a couple weeks, be sure to check it as a lot of new content has been added for both budding and advanced builders alike.
Activity Update
Things have been pretty busy lately with the introduction of v4 rights. Here’s a breakdown:
Town square now has a synchronized fountain. This fountain gives a 1 minute water show every 2 minutes. Also, the park clock tower now chimes its bells every hour, and the fountain does a special reaction to each hour. It has also received plenty of general renovations, especially on the south end, and has also been given many performance optimizations. Flint has been given a new home with the renovation of the message deck.
Faldon Village, Clandestine Village, Mazenda Mines, Ilexus Station and Ilexus Caves, and places along main street have been retrofit with 4.1 features so far.
In Saddle Creek, a new develop, only known as “Castle Town”, has begun.
A new land grant off to the far east on Bueny Penisula has been given to Silverliner, making him a district viceroy of Shores District. The area is pending a name and official opening, however.
And last but not least, you’ll notice the city is full of new bots called ScaraNet. These are new beta phonebots scripted by Absolute Monarch. Like pre-4.1 phonebots, they link chat together. Think of it as a poor man’s global chat system.
