AWNews Update Delayed
AWE 1.0 Released
The first public version of AlphaWorld Enhanced has been released. You can read more about it here.
AWE Website and Media Directory
The AWE (Alphaworld Enhanced) website is now up and is linked from the newly completed ‘Media Directory‘ website. That means all websites under the Media directory heading are now complete. I’m nearing total completion! 😛
SW City Lore
SW City’s now titled “Loremaster”, Espilae, has started writing some interesting, well formated articles on various elements of SW City. Articles cover, or will cover NPC races, wildlife, geography, corporations, and other various things like Hovercraft technology.
You can find a directory here. Check it regularly for updates.
SW City Times
The May Issue has been released a little late this month. The factories printing presses are a little old and outdated. 😛 Expect a new issue very soon to make up for the long wait.
Website & AW Critic
It’s been a while.. but I got a larger chunk of the website updates out of the way. I converted all the newsletter back issues and made a new lil’ page for the newsletter directory. Also, I added Yotis’ Windeval Prison video up on the downloads page. 😀 Also did a few little updates here and there that I won’t post.
As for the AW Critic column, I have written a new article which should debut on AWNews.org on their next Sunday update. So make sure you visit that site on Sunday to read it.
Alphaworld Enhanced
Today, we launched a lil’ project we been working on lately. Alphaworld Enhanced, or just AWE, is a visual enhancement mod which improves textures in Alphaworld.
Information can be found here.
Building News
What’s SW City been up to lately? Well, a lot of things, but many revolve around the SW City Revisited project. Many developed places have been revamped, cleaned up, or fixed in one way or another in an effort to bring the whole city up-to-date. Check the link for details.
Also the Road Revolution project, which is basically a city-wide effort to rethink and revamp how roads should be in AW. If you own any roads and are looking for something to do, you might be interested.
Mission Statement
We, the SW City staff, present this mission statement. Why? For the heck of it.
