I would just like to announce that the old SW City site you are seeing will be completely gone in the next few days. I have totally redesigned the site so it is way more organized and easy to navigate. It looks really good too. So, just thought I’d tell you the news and to look for the new site to be online in the next couple days. You will notice most of the website is down since I have started cleaning out the directory to make room for new files. 🙂

Woooo Hoooo!! At this year’s annual Cy Awards, SW City scored big with two Cy’s! The first Cy went to SW Chris for his rendition of Hyrule. The award was Best Environmental Design along with OneSummer for Summerland Estates. The second award went to me (Syntax) for this website! It won best website along with Andras for andras.net. Also in the news, a new series of building tutorials will be coming to this website. The websites will be under a whole new category called “The SW City Builders Academy Online” as it is an online version of the SW City Builders Academy. (except more in-depth.) Expect to see that online in a day or two as I already have half of it finished. Oh, and I also want to give a shout out to our friend Nornny for winning a Cy award for his Newsgroup Survivor game. Woo hoo Nornny!

Yes, you probably already noticed that the Navigation bar has changed. That is because I morphed it from 20 small pictures to one big picture then implemented the links using an imagemap which drastically cut down load time for each page. I also went through MOST of the pages on the site and cleaned up my HTML a bit. There was a lot of stuff left over from previous updates that no longer needed to be there. Please, if you find any mistakes on the site, E-Mail me about them and I will fix them as soon as possible. yawns So late..

Well, today is April 1st, and you all know what that means! The SW City 2nd Birthday Bash kicks off today! Make sure to bring all your friends to come and participate in the week long events the city staff is holding. You can check out all of the events by clicking here or visiting the link above to go to the birthday website.

The SW City 2nd Birthday Bash webpage is under development as of now. For info on this event, go to 2212s 3600e and look around the Community Events Corner. It lists all the Events that will take place during the week of April 1st to 7th. Also, SW City now has its very own newsgroup! You can visit the newsgroup by going to news://awjbell.com/aw.swcity. Feel free to get yourself involved with our daily discussion topics there. 🙂

Well, the javascript error has been deminished! The links site has been beefed up a bit with new links and a new “discussion” section. The SW City Vevo site has been updated with the February 2001 update pictures. A link to the SW City Vevo site has been added into the frames. A new job has been added on to the Job Listing site. A new image for the news section (as you can see). A “Download AW Now” button at the bottom of this page. Other pages have been cleaned up a little bit. Old information has been replaced with new stuff, etc. By the way, AW3.1 is rumored to be coming out this week so keep a look out!

Well, the SW City 2nd Birthday Bash website has been published. You can find it by CLICKING HERE or visiting the link at the top if this page. Note: The Agenda is not final and may be changed over the course of the four weeks. There are still a few things to be decided like times of the events and different things like that but that will be fixed over the next few days to avoid confusion.
