   Well, it’s all almost there, but I’m waiting for DSL Extreme to get back to me to see if they have Internet in our area yet.  Should be another day for that.  Then if they don’t, I’ll be forced to go to Comcast and that will take another month or something ridiculous like that.

    I haven’t had serious issues with Comcast as a customer but I guess I’m either that lucky or it’s different in area where I live. You ever had any bad experiences with them? Just curious.

    Waiting for just that? That’s kinda weird. Usually they can tell you instantly over the phone if not their website

    Apparently they just expanded service to Washington state this last few weeks, and our address is really weird.  These two things combined are probably making them scratch their heads.

    Legion, the reason I’d prefer DSL Extreme is because they are literally half the price Comcast is and they don’t bandwidth-cap you on things like Skype and Bittorrent.

    Well, I don’t use Skype (for an obvious reason if you know me well enough) or Bittorrent (not even sure if I have a use for them… the only use I’m aware for them is illegal pirate stuff but otherwise I have no idea…), so I guess that explains why I haven’t experienced hitting the bandwidth cap yet or it could be a local thing within Comcast network.

    I never heard of DSL Extreme. what is that? some supercharged DSL service? faster then 384k? Hope you get on soon!
