SW City Hall

City Hall is the headquarters for the SW City administration, SW City management and its associated departments. It also acts as a base of operations for the Scarabian Confederation and houses the charter which outlines the city's laws.
The current City Hall has been the base of operation between 2005 and 2010. The CRAP Framework bill was passed in 2010 which has plunged city hall into continual construction to this day. Due to the construction, SW City Management has resorted to meeting in SW Chris's basement for their weekly gatherings.

CRAP
The CRAP Framework bill was passed by SW City Management in 2010 to bring about much-needed improvements to the city hall infrastructure. The bill was aimed to improve on four points relating to the hall:
- Community
- The new design was to prioritize public accessiblity, and intuitive navigation for citizens.
- Restoration
- Focus was on restoration, not complete replacement of historical aspects of the hall.
- Adaptive Technology
- To bring the government into the information age, a focus was put on improving the digital infrastructure (removing chalk boards and overhead projectors for digital whiteboards and video conference rooms). A new fiber internet backbone was also being installed by ConnectSW, but major delays were experienced after ground-breaking work hit a major sewage line that was coming out of Palm Grove.
- Preservation of History
- The hall needed to continue to protect the city's identity and meet the local landmark standards.
As of today, the CRAP Framework bill is still not completed and continues to be a drain on taxpayer dollars.

The City Hall has undergone a number of renovations and location changes, as seen below. So far, there have been a total of three location changes and one major upgrade.
