The 2008 CY Awards ceremony wrapped up it’s week long celebration with the awards show on Saturday night, handing out all the awards to the winning citizens. Congrats to all the winners, and thank you to the CY team for putting on a great party.
Just a couple quick news notes here. Alphaworld has added more substance to its Halloween event with Flagg activating a day/night cycle which will cycle through day and night twice daily. He also managed to cram a Halloween-exclusive Object Yard into a lil’ 4×4 space right at Alphaworld GZ. If you don’t know what objects are available, just teleport there. Another reminder; the 2008 CY Awards nominations have kicked off today if you haven’t already been ‘grammed about it and will remain open until October 26th which gives you 10 days. Go nominate stuff! 
A new set of masks were uploaded to Alphaworld today. This new series is especially useful for gas-like special effects. See pictures and details here. Update: As of October 14th, 2008, the Halloween objects are now in the Alphaworld Object path.

Sometime in the past few days, Alphaworld has reached the landmark 200 million objects in-world. It’s been hovering in the 190 million region for quite some time now, and someone finally pushed it over. *looks at Tauntaun*
Well folks, this is a huge day in Activeworlds history! Build 1021 has been released with a revolutionary building command: scale.
