PHP sign generator is back

Robbie’s PHP sign generator – SW City Edition – is functioning again. If you been to the warehouse district in the past year you’ll have no doubt seen the mess of broken images there. They’re fixed now.

There’s been some syntax changes. See the academy for details.

3rd annual Townbuilding Seminar

I’ll be hosting the 3rd annual Townbuilding Seminar at the Townbuilding booth in AWExpo on Saturday, Dec. 13 at 4am VRT. (1am EST)

I understand that this is pretty late, but I figure that since it’s Friday night most people will be coming in from hanging out, and it’s a fairly decent hour for the rest of the non American world. :p

This year I’ll be highlighting a broad list of topics relevant to the developments Townbuilders have made over the last year.  The general guideline I’ll be following will cover…

– Environments
– The possibilities of new commands (lock, scale, say, etc.)
– Advancement and resurgence of themed public building worlds
– Efficient Advertising for new towns

Of course, I won’t strictly follow this and if anyone would care to interject I would love to make the seminar more of a discussion.

If anyone has a town or community they would like to advertise or otherwise have recognized, let me know by Friday Night.

Expired? Not Anymore.

Big day in AW, I’ll keep it short.
If you’ve ever owned a citizenship in the past, it has been renewed for a month. If you haven’t visited in a while, I suggest you drop into the Universe and say hello. This free month, plus the deadly holiday specials, could mean your citizenship can be active for a couple more years at a price similar to the old yearly pricing scheme.

CY Awards 2008

The 2008 CY Awards ceremony wrapped up it’s week long celebration with the awards show on Saturday night, handing out all the awards to the winning citizens. A transcript of the podium chatlog, put together by Karten, is available at AWPortals and shows the top 3 nominees and eventual winners. Congrats to all the winners, and thank you to the CY team for putting on a great party.

Halloween in Alphaworld & CY Awards

Just a couple quick news notes here.  Alphaworld has added more substance to its Halloween event with Flagg activating a day/night cycle which will cycle through day and night twice daily. He also managed to cram a Halloween-exclusive Object Yard into a lil’ 4×4 space right at Alphaworld GZ. If you don’t know what objects are available, just teleport there.  Another reminder; the 2008 CY Awards nominations have kicked off today if you haven’t already been ‘grammed about it and will remain open until October 26th which gives you 10 days. Go nominate stuff!
