Build Raising this weekend!

On Saturday August 3rd, at 10pm vrt we are having a Build Raising. What’s a build raising, you ask? Like the barn raisings of the last two centuries, it is a collaborative effort by many people to create one single building. Be there at SW City GZ – AW 2217.4S 3609.8E at 10pm VRT on Saturday!

Vornox and Cypris Creek Promoted

After being around in the city for about a year, Vornox has climbed his way up the ladder to reach Manager status. Cypris Creek, now a sub-community, is free to start expanding at it’s own will. Land has already been covered on the outershores of the ocean. Though Vornox got all the votes yesterday, it took some preparation to get the celebration ready – a party deck on the hills of Flangton Island followed by tennis and AW baseball.

Way to go Vornox ^_^

News Update

Caturn Island complete ^_^
There’s already several buildings on it. Oh, and thanks to Barney Calhoun for removing a couple of his buildings that were blocking the ocean’s path.

And one last note: Stop asking me to join the SW Army, it’s not real >_<

Expansions a Coming!

This image is what we’re hoping to build. Caturn Island will be owned by Silver Valley and Palm District. Sybit Island will be owned by Central District and Estates District. Caturn Island has been started but Sybit island is still being planned out.

New Viceroy in Town

At last, Palm District found a viceroy to bring onboard. Welcome Chris Cat, who now owns an area on the southeast peninsula of town.

SW City Charter Approved!

The SW City Charter has finally been approved by all four of the SW City Core Staff! Head on over to the Government board in the SW Forum to read it.

Still no charter >_<

I know we said we’d get the city charter published “soon” months ago – sorry about that! We’re back to work on it, and it should *really* be out “soon” now 😉

O_O @ how much there is to write about.

Mango Land continues to grow

Encouraged by great ticket sales on the festival, Mango Land expanded it’s walls and constructed a new ride: The Mach Blue. The park hired some new construction workers including Chris Cat and OniLink. Other additions include a balloon shop and the city’s largest billboard showing off Mango Land’s logo.

Future additions are being planned, such as a javacade outlet and various, classical sideshows as well as general improvements on current buildings.
